TAHINI BANANA ZUCCHINI SMOOTHIE

 

I just got home from a pilates class, and was craving a green smoothie. Smoothies are great because you can pack in so much nutrition into 1 meal. I decided to add in tahini as my source of healthy fat and it was DELISH. This is dairy free, gluten free, and full of fibre! Each time I prepare a smoothie I am looking for healthy fat, protein, fibre and greens!

Freezer Hacks:

frozen banana- I always peel bananas, cut them in half and store them in my freezer. They make smoothies extra satisfying, trust me!

frozen zucchini- I cut up zucchini in cubes and store in my freezer and use these instead of ice cubes in my smoothies for extra nutrients and fibre. The zucchini cubes make the smoothie extra creamy ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. 1 scoop vanilla protein
  2. 1 tbsp tahini (or any nut butter)
  3. 1 tbsp chia seeds
  4. handful of baby spinach
  5. 1/2 frozen banana
  6. 3/4 frozen zucchini
  7. sprinkle of cinnamon
  8. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

 


Instructions

Blend in a high power blender! ENJOY
