Spooky No Bake Brownies

Say goodbye to the sugar witch this Halloween, and opt for these no-bake brownies that will support your immune system and satisfy your chocolate craving. These brownies are full of healthy fats and also happen to be gluten free.

Why i  these No Bake Brownies:

Walnuts  Rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats that help regulate insulin sensitivity

Medjool Dates  This natural sweetener is a great alternative to white sugar and is full of minerals including copper and potassium

Raw Cacao → High in the antioxidant “resveratrol” which protects the nervous system

Shredded Coconut  → Great source of fiber, which reduces symptoms of IBS, lowers cholesterol and manages blood sugar levels

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup Raw Walnuts
  2. 1.5 cups pitted medjool dates
  3. 1 tsp pure vanilla extra
  4. ¼ cup vanilla yogurt chips or vegan substitute
  5. Toppings- yogurt covered raisins, shredded coconut
Instructions
  1. Place walnuts in food processor and process until a fine crumb is formed
  2. Add in dates, raw cacao, vanilla and pulse until mixture turns into a sticky dough-like consistency
  3. Add in vanilla yogurt chips and pulse just allowing chips to break down slightly
  4. Line an 8 inch square pan with parchment paper
  5. Distribute brownie mixture into lined dish and press down on mixture using hands
  6. Freeze for 20 minutes
  7. Slice into squares and top using your favourite toppings (shredded coconut, yogurt covered raisins, etc.)
Notes
  1. Tip- Store in freezer and eat cold
